I think the smell of the bush when it’s raining is one of the sweetest smells – ever. It’s a combination of dirt, gum trees, wattle blossoms and fresh air and it does the body good to get a few lung-fulls every once in a while. Yesterday we went to Serpentine Falls for our regular Father’s Day BBQ brunch and unfortunately we were rained out – thankfully not before we had some yummy bacon sandwiches and sausages. Yummm! It was a pity about the rain but we always have the memory of this sunny day 3 years ago to look back on!.
