the first love list

The first of many love lists (that’s provided that I keep up this regular blogging thing). Here are 8 random things I’m loving at the moment.

Smencils
100% environmentally kind, Smencils come in packs of 10 and are made from recycled newspaper ( you sharpen them the same way you would regular pencils). They come in flavours like orange, grape, cherry and watermelon – yum! (via Delight)

Bangalore pattern tea cup
I saw some of these Kenzo cups + saucers in a Myer magazine and at first I was horrified by the price (can’t remember exactly how much 2 cups and 2 saucers were but it was close to $200) but lately I’ve realised that food – any food, tastes better when served upon nice plates. Oh and tea also tastes better when consumed from a fine china cup with saucer. The above pattern is Bangalore and you can grab them online from Unica Home.

Inanimate Character Stickers
Inanimate objects of all types rejoice! Finally you can have a variety of expressions to suit your mood. I found these cute stickers, featuring eyes, mouths and noses at Perpetual Kid.

Kate Spade organiser
I’m so in the market for a new diary and I adore these Kate Spade Canvas Anne pocket organisers (definitely the red and hot pink number). When I was younger I always wanted a Filofax and after many years of Filofaxes I believe its time for a change. (via Outblush)

40 weeks
I like the idea of being super organised when pregnant and this book from 40 weeks is perfect for the expectant Mummy. This book is a well designed, well researched, easy-to-use organizer for every stage of pregnancy. (via Grow Modern)

We love Magazines
Pretty much a book after my own heart – it’s all about magazines and magazine culture. If I had some money…

Burlwood Chocolate Vault
I know that I’ll never see most of the stuff that I include in the love list, but I can always dream. And tonight, I’m going to dream about one of these suckas – a Burlwood Chocolate Vault by RICHART. The vault presents 7 drawers of chocolate complete with temperature and humidity gauges. Mmmmm. Kurt Halsey
I am in love with Kurt Halsey Frederiken’s beautiful & whimsical art. He has some gorgeous postcards for sale as well as the most beautiful calendar (now on sale $20!). (via Elsie)

Mini pics of me

Welcome to Too Askew, the blog of 30-something writer, Krissy Bradfield. At the moment I am loving all things MMA, the colour #990000 and thunderstorms.
