One of the most important parts of the upcoming baby shower will be the food and in particular the cake that is served to guests. I’ve been looking at cupcake designs and think the cupcake idea would be perfect (guests could serve themselves, no messy cutting of cake etc). Once again Flickr provided the inspiration.

My baby sister (Hi Mandy!) is having a baby this year and I’m super excited. We’re already planning the baby shower and I’ll be writing about baby shower related things here as they come to hand. One thing that has taken my fancy since looking into baby showers is the “nappy/diaper cake”. These things are amazing and look way too good to unwrap. Here are some of my faves via Flickr.
